1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of services provided by Riz Electrics Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 16739910), with its registered office at 158 Lodge Avenue, Dagenham, England, RM8 2JR. By engaging our services, you agree to these terms in full.

2. Our Services

Riz Electrics Ltd provides professional electrical installation, maintenance, testing, and inspection services for residential and commercial customers across London and surrounding areas. All works are carried out by qualified electricians in accordance with current UK wiring regulations (BS 7671).

3. Quotations

  • All quotations are provided in writing and are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
  • Quotations are based on information provided at the time. Additional charges may apply if additional works are identified during the course of the job.
  • We reserve the right to revise a quotation if the scope of work changes.

4. Booking & Appointments

  • Appointments are subject to availability and confirmed upon receipt of your booking.
  • We ask that you provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
  • We reserve the right to charge a call-out fee for appointments cancelled without adequate notice.

5. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon completion of works unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • We accept payment by bank transfer, cash, or card.
  • For larger projects, a deposit may be required prior to commencement of works.
  • Late payments may be subject to interest in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

6. Workmanship Guarantee

All works carried out by Riz Electrics Ltd are guaranteed, subject to the nature of the work, the complexity of the issue, and confirmation of the work carried out. This guarantee covers defects in workmanship only and does not cover damage caused by misuse, third-party interference, or circumstances beyond our control.

7. Customer Responsibilities

  • You must ensure safe and reasonable access to the work area.
  • You must inform us of any known hazards or pre-existing conditions at the property.
  • You are responsible for ensuring the property is adequately prepared prior to our visit.

8. Liability

  • Riz Electrics Ltd carries full public liability insurance.
  • Our liability is limited to the value of the works carried out.
  • We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from our services.

9. Compliance

All electrical works are carried out in compliance with BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations) and all applicable UK legislation. Where required, works will be notified to the relevant authority and certificates issued accordingly.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.
